Getting Started

We strive to make the process of going solar as streamlined as possible yet remain flexible to meet your needs. Below is our general process to providing you with a quality solar system. 
  1. Give us a call and let us know you're interested in going solar.  We'll answer any immediate questions you have and gather some information about your home.  We'll look at satellite images of your home to see if you have any obvious shading issues. If you appear to have a strong solar resource, we'll come out to your home to get a more accurate reading.
  2. During the site visit we'll need to access your roof, attic and AC electrical panel. We'll be measuring your solar resource, size of your roof, rafter spacing, and capacity of your current AC panel. With all this information in hand, now we can create an accurate proposal for a system sized just right for your goals. 
  3. If you move forward with our proposal, the next step is to begin to file for permits, incentives, and order your solar electric system components.
  4. Installation, permitting, and final inspection takes place over the course of about 30 days. 
  5. Your done! Now you create your own electricity for the next 25-50 years!
