Leaky supply ducts leak conditioned air out to unconditioned spaces. Leaky return ducts leak outside air into your home, which creates health risks. If leaky return ducts are located in damp crawl spaces, attics, or garages, that air leaks into the home creating air quality issues. 

To seal ductwork, we use mastic - a caulk-like material that dries solid - required by Energy Trust of Oregon.

After we seal the ductwork, we wrap it in a nice warm blanket of R-11 insulation. Insulating ductwork reduces conductive and radiant heat loss, which means more heat gets to where it was intended to - the living spaces.
